Stingers Buddies

Who We Are and What We Do
Stinger’s Buddies is dedicated to developing one-to-one friendships between students with- and without intellectual and developmental disabilities by offering social interactions, and increasing the level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded. Through their participation, students form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and discover shared interests, experiences, and activities.
When We Meet
Stinger’s Buddies is open every Friday during GOLD Lunch in Mrs. Morath’s classroom (1822) for social engagement.
Stinger’s Buddies has one organized activity per month on a Friday during both GREEN and GOLD lunches including, but not limited to: cooking/baking activities, crafts, playing games, Just Dance, coloring, socializing over lunch, and other fun activities!
Get Involved
Contact Mrs. Morath (room 1822) npmorath@smcps.org for more information to get involved and to assist in planning activities and to find other ways to socialize with buddies.
